Daniel 9 “70 Weeks”

70 weeks (70 – 7 year periods or 490 years) until all this is completed :

1. to finish the transgression
2. to put an end to sin
3. to atone for iniquity
4. to bring in everlasting righteousness
5. to seal both vision and prophet
6. to anoint a most holy place (One)

457 BC + 49 years = 408 BC + 434 years = 27 AD which is year of Christ’s Baptism + 31/2 years (half of 70th week) = Passover day in 30 AD the day and the year the Anointed One was cut off, when Christ was 33 years old.

End of 62 week:

1. 1. Anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing
   2. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. (70 AD foretold in Matt 24)

Events Daniel was told will occur at the 3 1/2 year mark of the 70th week:

1. 1. he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week
   2. for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering
   3. on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate
   4. until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator
